There are many kinds of wall picture frames that would look good on any wall, but that right there shouldn’t sound right. What I’m trying to say is that for every dull or crazy looking wall there is a right kind of picture frame that would match and look good together (with the bloody wall). There are black picture frames, white picture frames, magnetic picture frames (well this one is for walls that move, i.e. fridge doors), picture frames made of wood and/or stone. It is important to match the right kind of picture frame for your wall otherwise it is just a plain waste of time that you have to read your way down in this article. The fact that you’re reading means you are looking for help on how to decorate properly, or just trying to look where to buy freaking wall picture frames. For decoration purposes, I would advice to match dark walls with light-colored picture frames but make sure the edges of the picture frames aren’t too thick. Always remember that it’s all about the pictures here, not the picture frames. So for example for a black wall you would see rectangular outlines of white from afar and when you come close it would look like the outlines of the wall picture frames are actually highlighting the pictures within.
Consequently for white or light-colored walls, a darker kind of wall picture frames should be used. Simply put, have the picture frames stand out… because if you could have wall picture frames clearly visible and stand out you are making the pictures stand out. That being said, for wood and/or stone picture frames it is not the same. If your wall is made of stone, a picture frame made also with stone would be a practical use of your brain. In fact, if you can figure out that wood and wood gets along with each other then you shouldn’t have much problems figuring out everything else... although I have to hint you about the price. Wall picture frames shouldn’t be expensive. As a matter of fact no picture frames should be expensive at all. They are just mere “decorative products” as some would say an unneeded thing in your house but it sought after anyway in an effort to enshrine their pictures.
There are also wall picture frames that comes with strange features and composed of weird materials, you might even find some hard that they are actually picture frames. One time I went shopping with my girl trying to look for vases and stuff I stumbled upon this strange figure on the wall. I thought it was an artwork decorative material but alas an attendant came by and inserted a picture on its back. I mean Jesus Christ I thought it was an adjustable wall fountain, but it belongs to wall picture frames class. So remember folks, about thirty dollars is the maximum price you can deal with on wall picture frames, and a minimum of ten dollars otherwise the product durability is suspicious. |
